Born in Needham, Massachusetts, Aly's enthusiasm for the sport can be traced to an early "mommy & me" gymnastics class she took when she was 18 months old. Aly is a leader both on and off the floor, and a passionate advocate for body positivity , and recently, she came out against Larry Nassar in his sentencing trial.
